So, last week, I earned an award at PartnerStack.
Earning an award has been a total surprise, an honour, and a point of reflection.
As someone with the self-confidence about as stable as a quivering harmonica note, it’s been very helpful to have this around me to remind myself that, oh hey, people do appreciate the work that I do here. Maybe, even, people like me?
But also, it’s been an interesting time of reflection. I’m very proud of the work that I’ve done so far, but now I’m looking back on it and thinking, “huh. I really can do that. That’s easy. The hard work is up ahead.”
